For teaching something new, working on a new skill or behaviour. These sessions are not for looking at behaviour change or fixing a problem. These can be one off sessions or multiples. Training 121's can cover tricks, agility, hoopers, recall, lead walking and general training. Not anxiety, reactivity or more complex behaviours (see below). These sessions usually take place on our site in Adisham, but can be in the local area by arrangement. Places for 121 training are limited.
£40 for 45 mins
£55 for 60 mins
Includes basic recap notes and recap videos where needed.
These sessions are for where we are looking more at behaviours - the whys, the feelings involved, fixing a problem, or changing a response to something. We teach new behaviours and training as well but there is usually more complexity to these sessions.
Initial assessment of 45 minutes out in the dogs usual environment (where the unwanted behaviour usually occurs) followed by a dog free consultation (60-90 mins) at our site in Adisham where we discuss the behaviours seen, realistic expectations and lay out a suggested improvement plan, usually giving homework for you to get started on straight away.
This is then followed by weekly or fortnightly 121 sessions. These can be purchased in blocks of 3, to be used within 6 weeks. Includes detailed write ups, recap videos, homework and whatsapp/email support (during work hours) between sessions during that 6 weeks.
Initial assessment and consult - £100
3 x 45 mins = £150
3 x 60 mins = £180
3 x 75 mins = £225
Changing behaviours can take time and can often need multiple months of dedicated work to resolve. Jo P takes on a very small number of 121 behavioural clients at a time. Pop her an email with some details about your dog to get started.
Jo P runs a range of training groups over the winter.
